In response __ the COVID-19 pandemic, United of Greater Yankton has _ the Greater Yankton COVID-19 _ Response & Recovery Fund, _ disaster fund to help nonprofit organizations responding to _&; immediate and long term due to the pandemic.

Bridges to Hope of __

Bridges to Hope is _ grateful for the generous $8,000 grant we received from Western Bank! These funds _ allow us to provide 222 men and women, who recently released from incarceration, _ items necessary to start _. Habitat for Humanity of Denver

Great Western Bank is to partner with Habitat Humanity of Metro Denver __ ensure that low-income families __ job insecurity as a _ of COVID-19 are able __ remain in their homes. _ the current crisis approximately 70 Habitat homeowners have requested _ mortgage deferral and, while is a payment deferral __ in place, property taxes homeowners insurance will continue __ accrue. The Food Bank: Buddy _ Program of Milan, MO

Across our service area, _ 50 percent of children eligible for free and __- school meals. While these _ meals help ensure that receive adequate nutrition during school week, this often _ a gap over the __ when low-income children may _ little or no food __ eat.
The Buddy Pack program to fill this gap __ providing supplemental weekend meals to children that have _ identified by a teacher, or other school staff _ as being in need __ extra assistance. Each Buddy _ contains two breakfasts and entrees, as well as _. This consists of items _ as canned ravioli, cereal, __, canned fruit, raisins and -_ milk. By providing a source of weekend nutrition, Buddy Pack program ensures _ children’s basic needs are and they return to _ on Monday ready to .

Buddy Packs cost $5.00 _ or $180.00 per child an entire school year. to our ability to funds, The Food Bank been able to maintain _ cost for several years. __ order to ensure consistency, Food Bank purchases the of Buddy Pack items __ opposed to relying on _ donations. If Buddy Pack were obtained mainly through _ donations, we could not _ we would receive enough _ items to distribute a _ Buddy Pack to each child. In 2019-2020, The Food _ partnered with three schools __ Sullivan County: Green City , Milan C-2 Elementary and _-_ Elementary. In 2019-2020, we _ 2,600 Buddy Packs at three schools. Our distribution __ Buddy Packs was disrupted __ Mid-March this year due __ school closings related to COVID-19 pandemic. Green City _ all the way to first week of May. first week of May their last distribution, but _ sent out a 4-week _ all at once, which __ the whole month. Milan distributions when schools closed __ mid-March and Newtown Harris _ until the end of and distributed extra week’s _ throughout April that would _ participants through mid-May.

Great Western grant funds _ be restricted to Sullivan _, and all funds will __ directly to purchasing food such as peanut butter, _ fruit, cereal and premade to be placed in Packs. A grant of $5,000 will provide 1,000 Buddy to Sullivan County Schools.

Habitat for Humanity of , NE was extremely thankful being a recipient of _ Making Life Great Grant __ the amount of $10,000 __ September 17, 2020!
