United Action for Youth in North Liberty, IA receiving a grant from Great Western Bank

United Action for Youth __ North Liberty, IA

UAY is using the from Great Western to a program in North __ to reduce truancy and __ absenteeism. In conjunction with Iowa City Community School , UAY will partner skilled _ workers with youth who _ been identified as truant __ chronically absent by school _. UAY staff will work __ with youth and their to identify the barriers _ face, and help them _ strategies to overcome those .

Fresh Start of Lincoln, __

The support of Great __ Bank allows Fresh Start __ continue to provide safe secure housing to women __ homelessness in Lincoln. Audrey _, Development Coordinator, said, “It __ our privilege to be _ recipient of the Making _ Great grant. Our goal __ to build a stronger _ through empowering women partnering _ Great Western Bank allows __ to fulfill our mission”. Start is a transitional __ and goals program offering _ housing, case management and __ services to women who working to enact change __ their lives. Child Saving Institute, CSI, __ Omaha, NE serves pregnant and young parents, helps adults acquire skills to to independence, serves foster __ and biological families to _ them learn skills for _ well-being and works with _ of all ages to __ a safe, happy environment __ learn and grow. Both programs are by the National Association the Education of the Child (NAEYC).

Clinic with a Heart __ Lincoln, NE

Clinic with a Heart __ grateful to Great Western _ for granting funds for medications and supplies for in poverty in our _. For sixteen years, Clinic _ a Heart has provided _, interim healthcare to people __ need in Lincoln, NE. _ impoverished patients with diabetic _ and supplies increases the __&;_ quality of life while hospitalizations/ER visits which lowers resulting financial burden on community. New Visions Homeless Services __ Omaha/Council Bluffs

The dollars received from Western Bank will go __ providing food and shelter __ our neighbors experiencing hunger homelessness in the Omaha/Council _ community. With this generous _ we will be able __ provide help, hope and through emergency shelter, community _ sites, preventative services and _-_ housing programs for veterans __ homelessness. Project Homeless Connect Omaha

Project Homeless Connect Omaha helped over 3,000 of area's homeless find housing, _ services, healthcare, hair styles over 300 sets dentures 500 pair of glasses. _ 3,500 volunteers have committed time to making this one the most significant _ in the metro's history the homeless. Great Western _&;_ support has been remarkable __ helping to create a event. This year, over 600 of the area's homeless _ their way through various __ providers as well as __ and dental staff distributed _ five basketball courts.
