In October, Great Western _&;_ Diversity Equity and Inclusion (__&;_) council delivered an initiative _ encouraged GWB employees to _ in a 21 Day _ Challenge. The objective was __ gain greater awareness, insight perspectives into the world _ them. Our Nebraska associates the challenge with great _.

Monday, November 23 concluded 21 Day Diversity Challenge employees were encouraged to their experience. Through candid __, employees revealed they had sheltered themselves from authentic _ and through this, had in their social awareness. _ when conversations seemed guarded, employees expressed concern over _ the “right” thing, there a realization that if __ are not honest with _ and do not self-reflect, __ cannot learn and grow.

These shared insights provided _ on how a more culture can be fostered—both _ and personally. The resounding _ was that most employees _ more aware and gained _ greater sense of understanding __ the values of others—all lessons.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion paramount in creating a __ where employees feel a of belonging, fostering engagement _ their colleagues to work _ and smarter and building between employees and leadership. _ 21 day challenge created and supported the famous of Maya Angelou “Do best you can until know better.
